Our
Story

The London Football Talent Centre was an initiative brought about through the frustrating experiences that there was a lack of supportive and holistic pathways for aspiring youth footballers in particular within the female game.

Many of the founding members of the club were associated with professional men’s and women’s clubs and despite the initial promises of longer-term development opportunities and support, their experience has been quite the opposite.

LFTC aims to address many of the issues currently found within the female game and provide an environment where players can develop, thrive and compete at the highest level.

Meet the owner

Marcus Deans

Being a parent of two sporty teenagers, Marcus saw a club that had competed in the top tier of girls football for 2 seasons, LFTC had a great philosophy of developing girls and moving them on the established academies. I believe that with some structure and dedication we can build a great club founded on solid roots and these core values:

  • Great coaching & player development

  • Sense of community and building on our home in Wembley

  • Fantastic communication with parents

  • Player incentives & fun environment

  • Putting the players first
